Martin has an extensive knowledge in occupational health and safety and hazardous material management developed over 15 years working in manufacturing, industrial and pharmaceutical industries. He has developed expertise in the following areas of Environmental, Health and Safety:

His achievements include an 80% reduction in OSHA recordable injuries in one year, developed and implemented a comprehensive Safety Training program for over 300 employees, improved management of Workers Compensation program, management of EHS factors in $60 million construction project, and developed low-level monitoring system to meet new CDC recommended Airborne Exposure Levels.

Martin has a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is a Certified Safety Professional and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. In addition, he is HAZWOPER certified, First Aid/CPR/AED trained, DOT certified for hazardous material shipments, and OSHA 10-hour trained.

Martin is accomplished in helping organizations dramatically improve the health and safety issues that can cause major employee and financial risk thus reducing Total Cost of Operations (TCO). By applying his knowledge and proven methodologies, an organization can a better health and safety employee population and ultimately reducing financial risk and improving quality.
